Said Mufarji

Said Mufarji is General Manager of New Technology and Production Solutions in MB Petroleum Services. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree (from Tulsa University, USA) and Master of Science degree (from Imperial College, University of London) in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering. He is currently finalising a Ph.D. research on "Modelling of Fines Migrations in high Permeability Sands” from Robert Gordon University, UK.
 

Mr. Mufarji is an engineer with over 25 years of experience in Petroleum Engineering on Onshore and Offshore Platforms specializing in Vertical, Deviated, and Horizontal Wells covering exploration, appraisal and development phases. He held senior positions at leading companies including Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) and Shell Exploration & Production UK Limited before joining MB Petroleum Services.

He is highly skilled in all types of well interventions, oil production optimisation, completion designs, well performance monitoring and improvement. Mr. Mufarji takes keen interest in research and has indigenously developed a platform which can help enter a live well for intervention. This platform is on contract with PDO. He has number of valuable technical papers to his credit. In addition to engineering know-how, he has an excellent commercial acumen.

Mr. Mufarji is a member of Society of International Petroleum Engineers (SPE).

Avadhut Raiturkar

Avadhut Raiturkar is Production Solutions Superintendent in New Technology and Production Solutions Department of MB Petroleum Services. He has a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering degree from Bombay University, India.

Mr. Raiturkar has an extensive experience in the Oil & Gas industry. He has worked as Process / Project Engineer for Bombay Oil Industries for three years.

He made a name for himself by working for Petroleum Development Oman (PDO - a major Shell OPCO) for 25 years in Petroleum Engineering and Production Chemistry Departments. He joined MB Petroleum Services in 2006 and currently handles new technology projects such as Concentric Stinger to Cure Lost Circulation, Viscosity Reduction Systems and Alternative Chemicals for Salt Deposition Inhibitors etc.

He is a known expert on Cementing, Drilling Fluids, Completion Fluids and Stimulation Engineering. He was the focal point in Shell for Cementing and within PDO for Fluid Engineering. Mr. Raiturkar also has immense experience in Contracts and holds an excellent track record for training younger engineers. He was responsible for research in Cementing for Shell Group. He has authored several SPE papers and Shell EPNL papers.

Mr. Raiturkar is a member of the International Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE).

Mohammed Shahid

Mohammed Shahid A Shariff is Senior Production Solutions Engineer in New Technology and Production Solutions Department of MB Petroleum Services. He has a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from Mysore University, India.

Mr. Shahid has an extensive experience in operations and maintenance of process plants, oilfield static equipments, facilities and production systems.

He worked as Mechanical Engineer for Excel Engineering in India for three years before moving on as Operations Engineer for ADCO, Abu Dhabi, where he worked for four years.

Mr. Shahid joined MB Petroleum Services in 2005. He currently handles new technology projects such as Artificial Lift Systems, Jet Pump (Hydraulic Lift System), Progressive Cavity Pumps, Viscosity Reduction Systems, Live Well Intervention Platform, Intelligent Well Completion Devices, Expandable Tubulars, Inflatable Packers & Multiphase Flow Metering Solutions. He is on constant lookout for new projects and business development opportunities. He has been a proactive member of MB Research & Development (R&D) projects team.

He is a member of Institute of Engineers in India.

Aida Al-Ruqaishi

Aida Nasser Al-Ruqaishi is Petroleum Engineer in New Technology and Production Solutions Department of MB Petroleum Services. She has a Bachelor of Petroleum Engineering degree from Sultan Qaboos University, Oman.

She joined MB Petroleum Services in 2005. She currently handles new technology projects like H₂S Scavenger, Mechanical / Chemical Water Shut Off for Open and Closed Hole Completions, Total Well Management Solutions etc.

Ms. Al-Ruqaishi is a member of Society of International Petroleum Engineers (SPE)

Hussam Al-Najjar

Hussam Moosa Al-Najjar is Trainee Engineer (Platform) in NTPS. He graduated with a Degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Central Lancashire, UK besides earning a Higher National Diploma in Well Engineering from Fire And Safety Engineering College.

He has experience of three weeks in Rig 40 with ODE and two months in Under Balance System (UBD) with Weatherford. He was a member of the International Society in UCLAN University.
